Jost Uwase

Jost Uwase holds a Master’s Degree in Management of Development (MoD)/Specialization of Rural Development and Food security. Jost’s long track-record for over 10 years includes empirical and theoretical socio-economic projects baseline, mid-term, end-line and impacts evaluation, education sector evaluation, community development projects management in different sectors such as agriculture and forestry, energy and environment, capacity building with local and international institutions such as DFID, SNV and World Bank. Jost Uwase has extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative evaluations. Over the past 8 years, he has acquired professional experience in the evaluation, management of Development projects, capacity building and facilitating multi stakeholders process and social learning. Jost Uwase has participated as a Consultant into several assignments into the different domains including Forestry, agriculture, energy (off grid system), socio-economy, gender, financial inclusion and rural development. He has a strong experience in designing, conducting surveys and online monitoring by the use digitalized system and computing data. Jost has been working as a rural development officer under the Ministry of Agriculture and animal Resources for a period of 7years and have experience of more than 8years in the implementation of household food production systems programmes.
